What you want to know

We've gathered the most common questions from clients to help you understand how we work and what to expect.

How do I book a photography session?

You can reach us by phone at +1 514-555-0193 or email contact@forwardscale.org to discuss your photography needs. We'll talk through what you're looking for, suggest the best approach, and find a date that works for your schedule. Once we agree on the details, we'll send you a confirmation with everything you need to prepare.

How much do your photography services cost?

Our pricing varies depending on the type of session, duration, and specific requirements. Wedding photography, for example, involves different considerations than a product shoot for your catalog. Contact us to discuss your project and we'll provide a clear quote based on your needs.

How long does it take to receive my photos after the session?

Delivery times depend on the scope of the project. Portrait and family sessions typically take one to two weeks for editing and delivery. Weddings and larger events may take three to four weeks due to the volume of images and careful post-processing involved. We'll give you a specific timeline when you book.

What is included in a typical photography session?

Each session includes consultation beforehand, the photography itself, and professional post-processing of your images. We prepare photos for your intended use, whether that's digital sharing, print, or publication. The exact deliverables depend on the package and type of session you choose.

Where do the photo sessions take place?

We work both from our studio at 78 Sainte-Catherine St W in Montreal and on location. Studio sessions work well for portraits, ID photos, and product photography. Weddings, events, and family sessions often happen at locations meaningful to you. We're happy to discuss what makes sense for your project.

How should I prepare for a portrait or family session?

We recommend wearing clothing you feel comfortable and confident in. Solid colors and simple patterns photograph well. For family sessions, coordinating colors without being too matchy creates a cohesive look. We'll send you detailed preparation tips once your session is booked.

Do you offer product photography for e-commerce and catalogs?

Yes, product photography is one of our core services. We photograph items for business catalogs, advertising materials, and online stores. We handle lighting, styling, and post-processing to present your products professionally. Contact us with details about your product range and we'll discuss the approach.

What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel my session?

We understand plans change. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule. We'll work with you to find a new date. Cancellation terms vary by session type and will be clearly explained when you book. For weddings and events, we recommend discussing backup plans during the initial consultation.

What payment methods do you accept?

Please contact us directly to discuss payment arrangements. We'll explain the deposit requirements and payment schedule for your specific type of session when you book.

Can I get prints of my photos?

We prepare images for both digital use and print. If you want printed photos, we can advise on print-ready files or recommend printing options. Our post-processing ensures your images look their best in whatever format you choose.

How long have you been in business?

We're an established photography studio serving private clients and businesses in Montreal. Our team has experience across portrait, event, and commercial photography. We'd be happy to share examples of our work during your consultation.

What are your studio hours?

Our studio is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Event coverage, including weddings, naturally takes place on the day of your event regardless of our regular hours. Contact us to schedule a time that works for you.
