Our services also include post-processing and preparation of photos for print or publication as discussed and agreed upon during the booking process.

3. Booking and Appointments

3.1 Booking Process

All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is considered confirmed only after we have provided written confirmation via email and any required deposit has been received.

3.2 Session Details

The scope, duration, location, and deliverables for each photography session will be discussed and agreed upon before the booking is confirmed. Any changes to the agreed terms must be communicated in writing.

3.3 Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

• Arriving on time for scheduled sessions
• Providing accurate information regarding event locations and schedules
• Obtaining necessary permissions for photography at private venues
• Communicating any specific requirements or restrictions in advance

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Quotes and Pricing

Prices for our services are provided upon request and may vary depending on the type of session, duration, location, and specific requirements. All quotes are valid for a limited period as stated in the quote.

4.2 Payment Terms

Payment terms, including deposit requirements and final payment deadlines, will be communicated at the time of booking. We reserve the right to withhold delivery of final images until full payment has been received.

4.3 Additional Costs

Any additional costs incurred during a session, such as travel expenses beyond a specified distance or extended session time requested by the client, will be communicated and agreed upon before being charged.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

5.1 Client Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation and rescheduling policies, including any applicable fees or deposit forfeitures, will be communicated at the time of booking.

5.2 Photographer Cancellation

In the unlikely event that we must cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer to reschedule at a mutually convenient time or provide a full refund of any deposits paid.

5.3 Weather and External Factors

For outdoor sessions that may be affected by weather conditions, we will work with you to reschedule to an alternative date at no additional cost.

6. Intellectual Property and Image Usage

6.1 Copyright

All photographs taken by Forwardscale remain the intellectual property of Forwardscale. We retain copyright over all images unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6.2 Client Usage Rights

Upon full payment, clients receive a license to use the delivered photographs for personal, non-commercial purposes unless a commercial license has been specifically agreed upon and included in the booking.

6.3 Portfolio and Promotional Use

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Forwardscale reserves the right to use photographs from sessions for portfolio display, marketing materials, social media, and promotional purposes. If you prefer that your images not be used for these purposes, please inform us in writing before your session.

6.4 Image Editing

Clients agree not to alter, edit, or manipulate the delivered photographs in any way that misrepresents the original work without prior written consent from Forwardscale.

7. Delivery of Images

7.1 Delivery Timeline

Estimated delivery times for edited photographs will be communicated at the time of booking. While we strive to meet these timelines, delivery dates are estimates and not guarantees.

7.2 Image Selection and Editing

The selection of images to be edited and delivered is at the discretion of the photographer unless a specific number of images has been agreed upon in the booking contract.

7.3 Raw Files

Raw, unedited image files are not included in standard service packages and are generally not available for purchase unless specifically agreed upon.

8. Liability

8.1 Limitation of Liability

Forwardscale's liability for any claims arising from our services is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.

8.2 Equipment Failure

While we take precautions to prevent equipment failure, in the rare event of technical malfunction resulting in loss of images, our liability is limited to a refund of the session fee paid.

8.3 Third-Party Venues

Forwardscale is not responsible for restrictions imposed by venues or event organizers that may affect our ability to capture photographs.

9. Privacy

All content on the Forwardscale website, including text, images, and design elements, is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced without permission.
